This is a list of changes, made from version "0.3.1"
to "0.3.1/tellur1".

-- the configure script is added. now we made some checking before
compile driver: cpu type, optimization flags, target directories, etc

-- mmodem.c: the config.h is included, just for configuration

-- mmodem.h: declaration of async_icount struct is moved to the beginning

-- install.sh (who was INSTALL): duplicate startup line (in rc.local)
is not adding now for second installation on Slackware.
install.sh is now running by Makefile (through "make install" command).

-- editing of README, of course

-- Makefile: unchecked flag "-DCPU=586" are removed, it adding
now by configure if the cpu type is really 586 or above.

-- mmodem.c: cleanup_module() proc: the timer interrupt is now
clearing correctly at 2.4 during module shutdown (fixup for
some oops at shutdown, rmmod or "mmodem stop" commands).

-- px_reset.c: the mmodem.h is not included now, PX_RESET_PORT
is added instead (fixup for some compilation troubles)

-- Makefile: -DMODVERSIONS and -DEXPORT_SYMTAB flags are removed
(fixup for a lot of compilation trouples, see "Set version information
on all module symbols" option for details)

-- config.h: the _LOOSE_KERNEL_NAMES define is added, this is for
a "wrapped includes" on some gcc compilers (like in Slackware 8.0
on standart installation), who adds the hidden include of features.h
during compilation, and bring some types conflicts

-- Makfile: if the kernel source headers are found during configuration,
then the appropriate -I parameter is added, and compilation is working
even if /usr/include/linux and /usr/include/asm is not linking
   to real kernel source

-- mmodem.c: startup() proc: unsuccessful request_irq() call is now
generate the appropriate kernel message (usually in logs)

-- mmodem.c: line_info() proc: in sprintf() at the beginning:
state->port: explicit type specifier is necessary (unsigned
long is added), because of difference of the port declaration
   between 2.2 and 2.4

-- mmodem.c: the whole code: correct state setting for
the current working process for 2.4, now we use set_current_state()
call instead of direct changing of current->state value (fixup for
   some SMP compatibility)

-- mmodem.c: the whole code: return a few of bypasses of a
   wake_up_interruptible() call for 2.4... I don't know
any reason for this bypasses, and original serial.c
from linux kernel do have this calls for 2.4, as well as
   for 2.2

-- mmodem.c: get_async_struct() proc: correct initialization
of the wait queues for 2.4 (fixup for some oops during connect).
and also: initialization of three new fields of the "info" struct

-- mmodem.c: new procedure px_validate_dev() is added. this one does
the interrupt probe for each detected modem board. The board is
accepted to work only if the interrupt allocation was done successfully
at the init state. This procedure is calling from px_detect_pci()

-- mmodem.c: whole code: all request_irq() and free_irq() calls is
corrected to working with SHARE IRQ

KNOWN ISSUES:
   - There is an assembler warning with compilation on kernel 2.2
at Slackware 8.0: "Ignoring changed section attributes for .modinfo",
     don't care about

0.3.1/tellur2

Remove the old timer routines (which have been conlicts with a standart
serial driver). We have not any deal with a interruptless configuration
(because it work very badly with a multiport PX400), and we do not need
the timer emulation for the hardware interrupt.

Remove old style "bottom half" events usage. Now we using the tq_scheduler
task queue instead of local tq_serial/init_bh (fixup for some conflicts
with a standart serial driver).
